Marine exploration is an exciting program introduced in 2015! Campers, 4th grade and up will get to know the marine world through activities about the water, on the water, and in the water.
Each activity day morning, campers will adventure out to explore. They will have a chance to visit and learn about the tidepools at Natural Bridges State Beach, discover what’s around them. Excursions change from year to year but in the past campers have visited the Seymour Marine Discovery Center, kayaked or stand up paddle boarded from the Santa Cruz Harbor, and snorkeled at Point Lobos State Reserve, among other things.
We are ready to take advantage of the amazing ocean that is just down the hill from camp!
This specialty is offered Session 3 (July 9-21, 2018).
