Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children From Nature-Deficit Disorder by Richard Louv. Camp at Kennolyn is done outside (with comfortable inside areas for sleeping and gathering.) This book offers compelling evidence that being outdoors helps kids grow up happy and healthy.

He met his wife here, raised 3 kids here and has spoken to groups across the country about the power of the camp experience. He has served as President of 2 camp associations and believes that there is a camp for every child. There is no better person for you to discuss your concerns or ask questions about any of our camp programs.
Kennolyn Camps, Huntington Lake takes place on a site that is operated under a Special Use Permit from the USDA Forest Service on the Sierra National Forest, California. The camp operates on a non-discriminatory, equal opportunity basis.
