All-Day Equestrian Specialty.
Sessions 2, 3, and 5. For Intermediate and Advanced riders 5th grade and older.
Campers who can proficiently post the trot can enjoy a session dedicated to riding, learning about and caring for Kennolyn’s horses. This program is for campers who have their own boots and helmet and take regular lessons at home. Kennolyn has over 25 horses, 3 riding rings, a round pen and miles of trails.
All- Day Equestrian Campers will spend each Activity Day at the barn. In addition to English style instruction in one of our 3 rings. They will spend time vaulting and experience a private ‘over-night’ ride along our trails to one of our campsites on property. Cooking over a fire and sleeping under the stars is a favorite of all Equestrian campers, and as close to being a real western pioneer as you can get! Equestrian campers must supply their own helmets, boots and riding pants.
Half Day Equestrian Specialty
Sessions 4 and 6. For riders 4th grade and older.
For 1 week campers with some riding experience who can walk and comfortably steer a horse, the Equestrian Specialty offers a chance to ride and vault on each activity day (3 days per session.) More time at the barn, building a relationship with the other equestrian campers, the riding staff, and, of course, our horses, make this program fun.
